I love nothing more than when a client comes to me with a vision of a new look for themselves.

I love when they come inspired.

I love when they come prepared.

I love when they come ready.

I love when they come with photos.

I LOVE even more when they come with drawings of what they envision.

Have you ever drawn a hairdo you were wanting and had a stylist replicate it?

Inspiration.Found.

I am so in Love with her braid.

Even if this isn't her real head of hair.

DIY wedding Hair

Wedding season is Here! (Singing voice) and that means I am most likely booked every (other) weekend for a wedding, traveling to work a wedding and planning for working a wedding and maybe even attending a wedding.

 Love is in the air!

As much as I love being a part of the whole wedding experience, sometimes I am tempted to nudge the bride and encourage her to try doing it herself (depends on the bride- most of the time, I never encourage this) But I loved this tutorial on a sweet looking bun. I think it is a perfect, classic but simple wedding look.

The little mother and the once ugly cabinet

Once upon a time there was a sad, lonely and unattractive storage cabinet....

(Before)

It was aching for love and attention when a determined little mother met the lonely cabinet on a hot summers day.

She patted the cabinets doors and said, "Come with me, My dear, I will not let you wait another day feeling and looking the way that you do," " You will look Beautiful and Fresh, and everyone will wish they had you all to themselves"

(Sanded//primed)

The little mother knew just what to do, she raced around and gathered her supplies and went to work the very next morning. She cared for her sweet little baby and was even attentive to her husband as she worked, worked worked.. all.. day.. long..

After applying a couple coats of fresh paint, hugs and kisses...

The Cabinet smiled at her with the sunniest smile the little mother had ever seen (Besides her baby's smile of course)

The perfect shades of yellow, gray and white couldn't help but smothering the cabinet in love.

And when the little mother stepped away from the cabinet, after a full days work.. a tear fell from cheek.

She knew that this cabinet was the most beautiful cabinets of all the cabinets.

* Seriously. I can't get enough of this cabinet. It turned out incredible.

I have the Biggest and Best news EVER!!

(sorry for the lack of posts-- there is good reason, I promise)

Starting July 1st I will be working out of my home!

For all of my clients who are willing to come to my salon at my house, I welcome you!

If this is just something that doesn't work for you, I would love to refer you to some of my most favorite and trustworthy girls. (Although, I will deeply miss you, your stories, our history and of course.. YOUR HAIR!)

We are up to elbows in this project and I cannot wait to share it with all of you!
